1. Heat the avocado oil and other ingredients in a cooking pot over a medium/high heat.
2. Add a few kernels of popcorn to the pot, cover, and cook until the popcorn pops.
3. Add the ¼ cup of popcorn to the pot, cover and turn off the heat for 30 seconds.
4. Return to medium-high heat and cook, keeping the lid just slightly ajar and shaking every minute until the popping slows to several seconds between each pop.
